I have had a few days off! Good thing I am rested because this coming Saturday, Sept 12, the doors open at the Hudson Hall for our 4th annual Fibre Retreat!
A time to gather your projects, pack a lunch and spend a day or two, with other creatives!
Do you realize the workshops are included in your fee?
Coffee, tea, water and some snacks are included as well. Just brown bag it or use the fully functioning kitchen there. Fridge, stove, microwave, and you dont have to haul utensils or dishes either. Northern Ontario has its very own retreat for handcrafting!
Join me and knit, crochet, spin, weave, hand stitch the many gentle arts that are out there. Maybe you are a felter?! Come be inspired, or do the inspiring.

I have only ever seen the ones for purchase in stores.
What an incredible project!
Got a chance to hear what he would do next time, the process he followed..and how he created his own block to shape the hat.
(Tried to convince him to put the hat in the Fall Fair!)
