It may look a little quiet at Glasgow Square during the first week of September, but behind the scenes, we’re hard at work getting the building ready for a huge season ahead!

After an incredibly busy summer, we’re cleaning, painting, organizing and putting everything back together before our nearly sold-out fall and winter calendar gets underway.

Our 25th programming season officially kicks off on September 12th with Halifax’s own Mat Hughes, followed by a packed lineup of live theatre, concerts, weddings, corporate events and community celebrations.

The quiet won’t last long. Glasgow Square is getting ready for another season Made for Moments!

SHOW ANNOUNCEMENT

Glasgow Square Theatre is proud to welcome Theatre New Brunswick to our stage for Bluebirds, a powerful Canadian story of courage, friendship, and resilience.

Set in Étaples, France, in 1918, nurses Christy, Maggie, and Bab have crossed oceans to care for wounded Canadian soldiers during the Great War. Despite the terrible injuries they face and the dangers of the front drawing closer to their hospital, they manage to hold on to hope.

Through it all, the three women find friendship, independence, power, and influence in a place where men, once again, are trying to destroy the world.

Bringing Theatre New Brunswick to Glasgow Square is another opportunity to deepen our relationships across the Maritimes and continue doing what we do best: supporting Canadian artists, sharing Canadian stories, and bringing exceptional live theatre to our community.
