It’s been a busy week over here! After a really successful Garlic Fest last Sunday, my stock was definitely feeling depleted. ❤️

Now that my family commitments are taken care of, I’ve been given a little bit of time to get back to the studio — and I’m determined to finish one last scarf before tomorrow’s market! 🧶✨

I’ll be at the Nelson Harvest Festival tomorrow, Sunday, September 20th, from 10–3 on Baker Street.

✨ IT’S BEEN A MINUTE! ✨

Hey everyone! 👋 I’ve been a little quiet around here, soaking up summer with my family and friends and squeezing in quick flurries of markets whenever I can. 💛

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out to see me at the Nelson Night Market just over a week ago! What a night! It was wildly busy, full of festivities, great conversations, and so many wonderful connections with people from all over Canada and the US.

One of my favourite things about Nelson is how it seems to draw people from everywhere. There’s truly something (and someone!) for everyone here. 🥰

And then… immediately after the Night Market, my family and I whisked ourselves away on a camping adventure to Alberta. 🏕️ So I’m just now getting my feet back under me, reorganizing my thoughts, and getting back into studio mode.

And this week’s mission?

🌿 MAKE. MORE. HANGING. SHELVES. 🌿

They have been a clear best-seller for me this summer, so I’m going to be spending the week making sure I have lots on hand for my next market:

If you’re coming to the Nelson Night Market this Friday, be sure to stop by my tent.

I’ll have a selection of 55 g braids of hand-painted wool roving with me in some really fun colourways. Whether you spin, felt, weave, or just love collecting beautiful fibre (I know I’m not the only one 😉), there’s something for you.

The best part? They’re just $10 each—well below what you’d normally expect to pay for hand-dyed fibre.
