I put together a new guest mix of chilled out halftime & atmospheric d'n'b for the AquaticCollective over in Ashville, NC. What an incredible weekend that was! Seriously!!

It was surreal to watch all of that transpire in a blur across 4 days. From the immersive art workshop on Thursday through to the feature presentation at the Vogue on Friday, followed by the big night out at the Imperial on Saturday and then the signing event at Banyen to wind it down on Sunday, there were a lot of moving pieces at play and they all came together the best way possible. From the looks and sounds of it, we all got a healthy dose of something good by way of Alex and Allyson’s visit to Vancouver. Hope you’re still feeling it wherever you ended up!

“In 1972 I began a series of art actions which bear resemblance to rites, in that they mirror stages of my developing psyche. Art performance can include any material, from stones to videotape, or any subject, from childhood memories to cosmic consciousness, thus it becomes the most open methodology for an artist to make a statement. The rites reveal my obsession with the themes of mortality and polarity. The approximately fifty performances, over the last twenty five years, present definite stages of transformation, from a personal to a more transpersonal perspective.”
