I am in full pottery making mode in my studio right now, leading up to Christmas. The plan is to make more special mugs with gold on them! It has been a few years since I have done that as this gold luster is SO expensive. Here is a PSA if you do have gold luster on a piece of pottery … don’t put it in the microwave. In saying that though, this lightening crackle as a result of being put in said microwave is pretty cool!

☕️☕️☕️☕️ here a few examples of glaze combinations I use on repeat in my studio. I also create white with turquoise glaze combo, and two toned white for that crisp and simple look. I am still glaze testing for a nice creamy green glaze to add to the selection.

I thought I would invite you all along to a kiln opening! It really is like Christmas morning every time I open up this kiln. I love seeing all the new creations.
