Lumen Essence invites you into a night of art, movement, and connection.✨️🤍

Join us for an evening showcasing special tattoo flash from our artists, crafted for various parts of the body. Aswell as original artwork, prints, and handmade goods. Live painting will unfold throughout the space, cacao will be served, and music will carry us into dancing together.

This invitation is a community gathering.

City of Nelson! We have an amazing new resident artist at lumen essence tattoo doing traditional hand poked work. We are delighted to welcome charlotte to our team for the few months she is in town! Reach out to her directly or come by the shop and say hi. Walk ins available daily.

“Charlotte is a handpoke artist, originally from Melbourne, Australia. Working across various mediums, she is recognised for her use of soft textures and organic forms in her tattoos. Frequently abroad and tattooing around the globe, she has recently settled in Nelson and will be in town available to tattoo with us until late April 2026.

Inspired by the elements, the cracks and curves of nature, as well as shapes and lines that intertwine, she is regularly drawn to forms and placements that compliment the body. She often enjoys working through a collaborative process with clients to embody their vision and essence into her work.

Charlotte is available for flash, custom and all freehand requests. She will also be offering tooth gem applications from our studio!
