September Book Club results are in! ⭐️📚 Yesteryear was an interesting read with great writing and characters. I did find that I wasn’t completely shocked by the ending, I knew the answer to what was going on had to be something of that nature (trying not to spoil anything for yall lol) I also expected it to have more of an impact on me emotionally in regards to womanhood, the patriarchy, feminine rage etc. I was thinking it would be a bit darker, leaning towards a Handmaids Tale vibe but it didn’t do that for me! Did you read Yesteryear? What did you think? 🐓🧺🌾
