Lordy, lordy, I'm turning 40!!

Next month, I would love for you to join me in all my perimenopausal glory and celebrate my birthday!! I could not be more delighted to be joined by this excellent cast and I cannot wait to see what delightful performances we'll see from Dixon Fay Ryder BLOWPONY ANNIHILATION WhipLash :) and Carn E Val!!

This show is going to be weird and wacky, silly and sexy, fun and fabulous. We will go from Broadway to rock and roll and back again. Please join us for a night of great tunes and great performances!!

October 9th at Something in the Water. This show is 19+ so if I'm old enough to be your parent, and it wasn't a teen pregnancy, then you're out of luck! Tickets will be on sale soon, so keep an eye out for the link!!

(I feel compelled to mention that AI can suck my silicon dick, because I made this poster using a REAL photo of a REAL CD because my husband is a REAL cool guy who still owns a physical copy of the first Big Shiny Tunes!! I'd like to see AI do THAT.)

This one is for the Fannibals. I turned an old tshirt that never fit properly into a sparkly vest. You can't tell from this distance, but the graphic is covered with teeny tiny rhinestones. This vest took me all three seasons of Hannibal plus special features and part of season one again. As I was finishing up, I was trying to figure out a song that would pair perfectly with Hannibal vibes...and then didn't Adam Lambert go out and release a song called "Eat You Alive"!? And the song is basically like a love letter from Hannibal Lecter to Will Graham. Listen, I don't ship often, but when I do it's Hannibal and Will for LIFE.

Now listen, I'm not usually one to start a rumour...and that's not necessarily what I'm trying to do here. I'm just saying I went to the same high school at the same time as Avril Lavigne...so maybe it's possible that Street Meat has been the real Sk8er Boi all along?! I'm not saying she wrote the song about me, I'm just not not saying it. August 29th at Daft Brewing, doors at 7pm, show at 8. Tickets on sale this Friday, $15 online, $20 at the door.
