THIS painting will be at the Nanoose Bay Cafe! All of January 2026!

There’s something magical about the way the sun melts into the horizon, painting the sky with vibrant oranges and deep blues. This piece captures that fleeting moment of calm, where the world feels still and the only sound is the gentle lap of waves against the rocks.
I hope this scene brings you a sense of peace and connection to nature, just as it did for me while painting it.

This might be at the Nanoose Bay Cafe for January!
I love exploring the contrast between warm sunsets and cool ocean waves. The expressive brushwork in this piece was all about capturing the motion and energy of the sea, while letting the background glow with soft, tranquil colors. The ocean’s energy is always changing, and I wanted to capture that in this piece. The swirling brushstrokes and sparkling highlights are my way of showing the power and beauty of a crashing wave at sunset.

Meet the Artist – New Year’s Day at Nanoose Bay Café
Hello friends and neighbours,

I’m delighted to share that some of my latest work will be on display at Nanoose Bay Café throughout the month of January.

To kick off the New Year, I’ll be hosting a “Meet the Artist” on
🗓 January 1st | ⏰ 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon

Nanoose Bay Café will be serving their wonderful New Year’s Day brunch, making it the perfect time to step out, enjoy a delicious start to the year, and connect through art.

This new body of work explores the study of water, featuring a controlled epoxy pour in select areas to enhance depth, movement, and the illusion of flowing water. I’d love to share the process and inspiration behind these pieces with you.

I hope you’ll stop by, say hello, and celebrate the New Year with art, community, and great food.
