Family Karaoke Night

My very last night ever hosting karaoke will be this Sunday, January 25, 2015 at The Wellington Pub. I will keep this group open in case someone else starts a family show. I think it is important to have this sort of thing for all ages, but unfortunately there is nowhere that can pay enough to bring any other companies in at this point.

Sorry everyone! Family Karaoke is cancelled for now. :( I hope we can do some fun family nights in the future, but for now, it's all done.

We had great fun tonight! We had 4 more first time singers, and I always admire the courage it takes to get up and sing in front of a big group of people! My assistant Jeffery came out of his shell with some cheesy 80s dancing and 'Never Gonna Give You Up'... What 11 year old sings that? lol many more stories and lots of fun!

Here it is with an agreement to go for several months at least! Yay! I know many have been waiting for this, as have I, so thank you for your patience! Lots of work went into making this happen! Starting August 5, 2014

No family night karaoke for the time being. It was going to be changed to the first Tuesday of the month, but I saw that it would be July 1st, Canada Day, to start and that doesn't work for me, and probably a lot of other people. So, I say hold off for the summer, re-visit this concept in the fall.

I had to take a different job on Monday Night for a 19+ crowd, because I have been waiting for Family Night to start, but it is taking a long time. I hope to find a way to eventually do a Family Night, even if once a month, so I am keeping this group open and I will post as soon as I find one. Thank you everyone for your input and for supporting this concept! Let me know what nights and times work for you if I do find something... I can do Sunday, Tuesday or Thursday...

First week was great! Second week was slow, but big thanks to Mel with her friend Ashley and Alexis for coming after my post! Third week...? This looks good overall for format, food and staff, so I hope it works out! Come on out MOnday MArch 17th for our next karaoke show! 6pm - 8pm!
