Kelly Mitchelmore Kelly Mitchelmore BID, artist/designer:
Hi, meet me. My name is Kelly and I like the colour red (red wine, red hair, red paint, red….

Original Paintings in both oil and acrylic :) online shop located on website and international shipping is available :) Gallery viewings are most welcome and available by appointment - contact for appointment :) Well you get the picture)I am Nova Scotian born and raised and proud of it. I am a huge fan of “support local” and am involved with several local art festivals, charities, and associations – your community is only as good as you make it. Currently residing in Windsor Nova Scotia I paint in my studio with loud music and my dogs to keep me company  My home also doubles as a gallery so please contact me should you ever want to visit and see my work. I also have an online shop on my website and I ship internationally . I also teach workshops at my home gallery so be sure to check that out :) https://kellymitchelmore.ca/shop-ship/

Style:
I paint in both acrylic and oil and mostly create contemporary floral and scenery pieces with both brush work the knife. I use a heavy palette of bright hues and I tend to paint large . I often shape my composition and forms as I paint – this allows me more freedom and an actual bond is created between me and my work. It comes to be as I paint – I like that. Most of my works are very textural - heavy layers. Although I do have Nova Scotia landscape series that is very soft and dreamlike :)

Thank you for both your time and support........................................................................................................................

Day two of pond Reno - old liner is out and koi are in a new holding pond and I took advantage of this mess and dug a little deeper on edges to make it more even when fixed.

Tomorrow new liner goes in ( that’s a full day of manipulating stuff plastic and hoping it fits and doesn’t leak. )
