🦃Set in two adjoining bedrooms on a farm, The Birds and the Bees is an uproariously funny look at s*x, love, family, the environment, and yes...turkeys!

Sarah has just left her husband and moved back in with her mom Gail, a divorcée of twenty years herself. Sarah is a turkey farmer who spends her days artificially inseminating turkeys, and Gail is a beekeeper whose honeybees keep dropping dead. Add to the mix a frisky farmer named Earl and an inexperienced entomology student named Ben and the feathers start to fly!

Nanaimo Theatre Group is looking for more Musical Directors to join us in the fun of presenting musical theatre to Nanaimo.
Immediate need is a musical director for our spring musical, The 25 th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, to be directed by Mary Littlejohn. Follow the link for more details on this show.

To be performed at the Bailey Studio, between February 21 st to March 13 th , 2027.

Essential skills:
Vocal Direction – teach music and harmonies to the cast,
Collaboration – work with the director and choreographer to match tempos and staging.
/
Bonus skill:
Band Leadership – play piano, rehearse and lead the small live band.
