Ten years after The Tragically Hip’s unforgettable final concert, CBC will rebroadcast this historic performance and honour Gord Downie’s powerful call to action.

We encourage our community to tune in, reflect, and consider coming to The Old City Station Pub for a good cause! 50% of every ticket supports the Gord Downie & Chanie Wenjack Fund, supporting education, awareness and reconciliation.

❤️ REMEMBERING GORD DOWNIE

Gord Downie left an extraordinary mark on Canadian music, culture, and our collective hearts. As the frontman of The Tragically Hip, he was a storyteller, poet, artist, and passionate advocate who used his voice to bring people together and inspire meaningful change.

This August marks 10 years since The Tragically Hip’s Man Machine Poem Tour, and we’re honoured to come together to remember that powerful moment in Canadian history.

🇨🇦 Join Crimson Coast Dance Society on August 22 at The Old City Station Pub as we gather with Canadians across the country to re-live the final chapter of The Hip’s legendary tour through the special broadcast, The Tragically Hip: A National Celebration.

This evening is about music, memory, community, and connection, and about carrying forward Gord’s belief in the power of storytelling and reconciliation.

A portion of the evening will support the Gord Downie & Chanie Wenjack Fund, a cause that is deeply aligned with our values at Crimson Coast Dance Society.

Come celebrate together. Come remember. Come be part of the dance.
