Last week we hosted Handsome Tiger, Jayden Paul, and Lil Cis at The Queen's.

Handsome Tiger has always been a favorite on the BC festival circuit. This year he played one of our favorite sets at the Wicked Woods, making him a must for us to bring to Nanaimo.

Lil Cis caught us by surprise with an unannounced set at Pachena Bay Music Fest, 2 years ago.

Bedtime Snack has always blown us away with his diverse range of genres, never pigeonholed and constantly grinding. Keep an eye on him as he settles into the scene.

3 very talented artists, 3 unique styles, 1 Soundsystem

Join us Saturday night.

bedtime snack supporting our headliner Handsome Tiger

Jayden, also known as bedtime snack, is an Indigenous artist from the Kwakwaka’wakw ~ Wuikinuxv ~ Tla’amin nations, deeply rooted in the Northwest Coast of so-called “British Columbia”.

Whether it’s drum and bass at sunrise, or dubstep at sundown, Jayden’s capacity to capture a feeling and then share it with the dancefloor sets him apart from his contemporaries.

Bridging the gap between high energy beats and moody, emotional dance music have brought him to play festivals such as Bass Coast, Samsara, Pachena Bay, Paradise, and more. Almost every selection is heavily influenced or inspired by his first true loves - hip-hop and r&b.

Across live DJ sets and original productions, bedtime snack’s emotive nature leans into a balance of creative expression, revealing an undying love for the craft. If you’re eager to experience a thoughtfully curated set that lasts, don’t go to bed without a bedtime snack.

Supporting Handsome Tiger,
Lil Cis ❤️
She/ her

Inspired by those 2am moments when strangers become friends, Lil Cis approaches DJing as an act of gathering, creating space for people to let loose, connect, and have fun together.

She is also a co-founder of Audio Social, a platform and event series dedicated to cultivating culture and building inclusive community through music. Her love of music, community-building, and throwing parties is what ultimately pulled her behind the decks.

Lil Cis made her festival debut at Shambhala 2022, playing a Latin, Afro, and progressive house set at the Cedar Lounge. She went on to share her sound at Envision Festival 2023 in Costa Rica, Future Forest in New Brunswick in 2024, and numerous West Coast festivals following.

Inspired by her friends, community, and collaborators, Lil Cis pulls from an ever-expanding range of sounds that shine through in her SoundCloud mixes. Her work is varied, playful, and genre-fluid, and she has been featured on radio and mix series including Light Twerkers, Sub Chakra, Cimmerian Records and Feral Mix Series.
