A few months ago I entered a content hosted by and to my absolute shock and delight, I was lucky enough to be one of the winners of this absolutely gorgeous set of the Throne of Glass series. Ever since I finished this series about a year and a half ago, I think about it every single day. To have this stunning set in my collection is such a dream come true. To have it arrive at my door during the week of my surgery has been such a bright spot for me! Thank you so so much to Heirloom Books.
If you’ve read the series, let me know where you think Assassin’s Blade should be read in the series, because I believe it should be read FIRST and I’ll die on that hill! 😂

Happy May the Fourth to all who celebrate!! I had never seen Star Wars until I married my husband. Once I watched the series, I fell in love with the story and the themes. Good vs Evil. Being brave in the face of adversity. Choosing to do what is right even though it’s hard.
Then you add in lovable characters like Chewie, R2-D2, C-3PO and a killer soundtrack by John Williams… need I say more?! (This epic theme makes me teary every time.)
We’re big Star Wars fans in this house.

Originally this patch was part of a bigger hoop that I was working on. In the end I wasn’t happy with the hoop, but I had to salvage these two buddies! I stitched this using threads on quilting cotton.
