Standing at the water's edge, the docks are often the first thing you see when approaching Saysutshun. Today, remnants of those early structures remain, history standing in time, quietly telling their stories.

The docks and wharves have welcomed canoes, steamships, ferries, and visitors from near and far.

Pro tip: You may notice a dog enjoying the views along the dock. If your four-legged friend is joining you, please remember that dogs must be kept on leash while visiting Saysutshun, as required by BC Parks.

Did you know?

One of our special relatives of the natural world found on Saysutshun is the Puk xul xul les (puk hul hul less), also known as the Champagne Raccoon. This magnificent, rare animal lacks the gene responsible for producing black hair pigment. This raccoon family has lived on Saysutshun for countless generations.

Stories about these beings have been passed down, sharing their journey and deep connection to Saysutshun.
