From the Earth Acoustic Duo - Live Music for Events, Functions, Festivals, Markets, Celebrations & Weddings

Individual Rates - Min $100 per hour (add for sound system $100)

Duo rates - Min $250 per hour (includes sound system if needed)

2 hours - $500
2.5 hours - $625
3 hours - $750

All prices and fees include set up and take down of equipment

At venues we require power for larger sound system
Please provide shelter from the elements in case of rain

Our Sound Systems
Powered Bose L1 Model 2 - ideal

for larger venues of up to 500 people (power is required)
Bose S1Pro - battery powered and good for smaller venues or smaller outside venue (ex: beaches, fields ect.) Our systems are not intended to be used for anything other than our performances unless arranged in advance
If you are looking to use our equipment for any of your own speeches/ anouncements/ toasts or for your own Bluetooth music or connectivity then there is a rental fee that is applied. Please call or email for any special requests or pricing options

If you have a larger wedding and need a larger sound system please arrange that in advance

Travel
Gas out of town performances over 50km away
far out of town accommodation fees depending on time and location of event
If we need to book accommodation it will be billed out in advance or if you have a location or a can use yoru corperate rate to bill
Option to invoice meals 20 for lunch or 50 for dinner unless it is provided


Full Day - Wedding Day
All weddings include - one learned song request
The learning of any new additional songs will be billed at $100 per song

Full day on site - Up to 8 hours
Ceremony/Receptions - Teatime/Cocktails - Dinner - First Dance
Max 4 hours of music
Min rate Starting at $900
includes set up at all wedding locations

Half Day on site for up to 4 hours
Max 2.5 hours of music
Min rate - Starting at $650

Support Michelle Loreta: Healing, Hope, and Her Voice

On behalf of Mike, Michelle, and From the Earth, we wanted to share that Michelle has recently received a thyroid cancer diagnosis. She will be undergoing treatments and procedures over the coming weeks and months, and we have set up this fundraiser to help support her during this time. Michelle has shared her beautiful voice with Vancouver Island for many years, bringing songs filled with love, resilience, and the natural beauty of our home. Her music has inspired countless hearts, and her spirit continues to lift those around her even in challenging times.

Michelle’s faith, strength, and grace have guided her through many trials, and she is deeply loved and supported. Music is her passion and her livelihood, and this support will allow her to focus fully on healing while knowing her community stands beside her. Every contribution is a way to honor her gift, her light, and the joy she brings to all of us.

From the Earth, we will do our best to perform at the scheduled upcoming events, but we will be mindful of Michelle’s healing and recovery. We have recorded a lot of music over the past year and a half that we are excited to share, but for now, performances will be limited until Michelle is fully ready to return. We appreciate your understanding, support, and prayers as she walks this journey toward health and renewed strength.

Today is National Step parents day Sept 16 I want to acknowledge the role Michelle has played in supporting me and my growth as a parent and supporting my daughter over the last couple years, from being a role model and support for us both, stepping in to tough situation, surprises, holidays, snow days, setting up her room, travelling, getting her first guitar with her and teaching her to write songs, recording in the studio,being a mentor and role model, teaching her basketball and cooking skills, and getting her up singing in front of people. Michelle stepped into our lives and gave us so much life and love, and so much more. ♥️ We are so thankful and grateful for everything she has done for us
