Three days of live music, packed crowds, camping, charity auctions, kids on shoulders, old friends, new friends, sunshine, a little Alberta weather, and some of the best vibes we’ve ever felt.

The artists delivered 🎶

The crowd brought it 🕺🏻💃🏻

Our volunteers and crew kept that festival spirit rolling through every twist the weekend threw at us.

And by Sunday night, nobody seemed particularly ready for it to end….

Neither were we.

So before we turn the page to what’s coming next, here’s one more look back at a pretty damn good weekend at Pigeon Lake. 🤘

Because here’s the thing.

PLMF might be wrapped, but summer at Pigeon Lake definitely isn’t.

In less than a week, we get to fill that concert bowl all over again.

The Pigeon Lake Concert Series is coming August 27 to 30, with another stacked lineup, camping, activities all weekend and four more days to squeeze everything we can out of summer.

So yes, take one more look back at PLMF with us.

Then start making plans.

We’re not done yet 🏕️🎸

The music gets people through the gates.

This is what makes them want to come back.

Families stretched out on the grass. Friends finding each other in the crowd. Kids up front. Campers wandering in and out. People dancing wherever they happened to be standing.

Some have been coming for years.

Some were seeing PLMF for the first time.

By the end of the weekend, it was pretty hard to tell the difference.

That was the vibe this year. ❤️

And yeah, the music was pretty damn good too.

Friday came out swinging with Econoline Crush, The East Pointers, Sass Jordan and Chilliwack.

Saturday somehow found another gear with Selfish Bodies, Raquel Cole, Cat Clyde, Coleman Hell, Bran Van 3000, The Trews and The Sheepdogs.

Then Sunday gave us Taylor Rae, young friend, Devon Cole, DJ HUMAN KEBAB, SonReal, The Northern Pikes and The Tea Party.

Three days of artists who showed up, leaned into the moment and gave that bowl everything they had.

Pretty hard to ask for much more than that. ❤️

So here’s what’s next.

Sunday was Day 3 and the final day of the Pigeon Lake Music Festival…

Not gonna lie, it took us a couple of days to dry out before we could put the day into words 👏😅

But what a finale 🎆

Sunday threw just about everything at us.

Last minute lineup changes.

Rain.

Wind.

Around Alberta, other outdoor events had to call it a day.

But that wasn’t how our story was going to end.

Hoods and 🤘 up.

Rain jackets zipped.

And the concert bowl bouncing.

That’s more like it.

SonReal didn’t just step onto our stage.

He stepped into the moment.

Looking out across a sea of ponchos with 🙌 hands in the air 🙌

To tee up the early evening, DJ HUMAN KEBAB made sure nobody stood still long enough to get cold.

He had the whole bowl dancing, laughing, and forgetting about the weather.

Exactly what was needed 🫡

Sunday only worked because everyone showed up ready to give it everything they had.

Thank you to Taylor-Rae, Young Friend, Devon Cole, The Northern Pikes, and The Tea Party for sticking it out through the elements and giving the crowd everything you had.

A huge thank you as well to our production crew, volunteers, vendors, sponsors, everyone working behind the scenes, and all the attendees. The weather kept changing, but you just kept finding a way.

A special shout out to Hilah Ayers Wilderness RV Park.

That natural concert bowl tucked into the trees gave us a venue that handled the conditions remarkably well and helped keep the music going when it mattered most.

Sometimes the setting becomes a part of the story.

This was one of those days.

One of our favourite moments all weekend. That’s what Pigeon Lake Music Festival has always been about.

Day 2… wow. ❤️

What an incredible Saturday.

From the first note to the final encore, the energy never let up. Thank you to every artist, volunteer, vendor, sponsor, and every one of you who came out and made Day 2 so special. You made it one to remember.

A huge shout out to everyone who supported yesterday’s charity auction. Your generosity made a real impact. We’ll be doing it one more time today, so come ready to bid for a great cause.

🚨 SUNDAY LINEUP UPDATE 🚨

Due to the ongoing WestJet labour disruption, Classified is unfortunately unable to make it to Alberta and will no longer be performing on Sunday.

The good news? SonReal and DJ HUMAN KEBAB are stepping in, giving Sunday's lineup a 2-for-1 upgrade!

A huge thank you to Classified and his team for doing everything they could to make it happen, and to SonReal and DJ HUMAN KEBAB for jumping in on short notice.

A huge thank you to every artist who poured their heart into the stage, every volunteer who made the magic happen behind the scenes, and every single person who came out to celebrate live music with us yesterday. You made the first day of the Pigeon Lake Music Festival one to remember.

But we’re just getting started.
