We had such a wonderful afternoon at Rosedale Retirement Residence in Brockville for Happy Hour! 🥂🎵

It was so lovely meeting some new faces in the audience, while also getting to see a few familiar faces again.

Thank you to everyone who joined me, sang along, smiled, clapped, and helped make the afternoon so much fun!

My childhood neighbours, the Cleasby family, moved away from beside us in Morrisburg, Ontario, more than 20 years ago. Over the years, I stayed connected by following their lives on Facebook, watching their family grow and celebrating their milestones from afar. I had always hoped to visit them one day and finally see Sarnia—a town they always spoke so fondly of.

Life has a funny way of coming full circle. This past spring, Eileen reached out to me completely out of the blue, asking if I was available to DJ Mel’s wedding in 2026. It felt like such a full-circle moment and an incredible honour to not only reconnect with the Cleasby family, but also to be part of such a special day. Years earlier, I had the privilege of singing at Eileen and Reid’s wedding, making this celebration even more meaningful to me.

This weekend Heather’s Sound Service was visiting Maple Leaf campground in Mallorytown for karaoke night. What a treat it was to sing along all night long.

It’s been a busy few weeks. We were part of a big and beautiful outdoor wedding on the 11th in Augusta, and a private birthday party on the 18th in Moorewood.
