The past 2 months of Saturdays have been incredible for weather. Sure, its a bit cooler out now, but the sun has been shining throughout the two months of Weddings I have been working.

Kelsea and Kyle were at The Marshes Golf Club yesterday for their Wedding Day, and it was another great one!

We began the day with the Ceremony inside rather than out, which I thought was perfect and planned that way from the beginning. It all went great and at the end of it all, they were officially Married!

Off we went to the Ironside Grill for Cocktails and then a rousing Introduction of the Bridal Party before settling in for Dinner and speeches. Once everything was completed, we shuffled on over to the dance floor where the First Dances took place before opening the floor to everyone. We worked the First Dances a bit differently this evening, with the Parent Dances held first and then Kelsea and Kyle took to the floor for their First Dance together, which tonight was Zac Brown's Whatever It Is.

Dancing took off and never really stopped for the rest of the night. A very enthusiastic dance crowd tonight, with many people on the floor throughout, which always makes things much easier for me to work. We danced right through to the 1am cutoff time and shut it down. Such a good night!

Thank You again to Kelsea and Kyle for taking a chance on my services for your Wedding Day. You appeared very happy with the results, and I appreciate that. Wishing you both a great life together and maybe we will cross paths down the road sometime.

Another fabulous weather day... broken record here, but its worth saying for sure. Jamie and Dillon tied the knot today and we began this day out at Kin Vineyards for the Ceremony. The Ceremony was held just adjacent to the vines and was great. While the congregation was mingling afterwards at the Vineyard, I headed back to the West Carleton Amateur Sports Club - WCASC to do final preparations for the Reception.

Once everyone was in the building and the Bride and Groom arrived back from their photos, a quick introduction brought in the Bridal Party and Jamie and Dillon so that they could mingle with the guests a bit before dinner.

Dinner tonight was a buffet and I played a few rounds of Name That Tune to get everyone through the line. Always fun.

After dinner we did all of the speeches, had dessert, moved on to the cake cutting and then the First Dance of the evening, which tonight was Luke Combs' Beautiful Crazy. Father / Daughter Dance followed and then the dance floor opened. It was a smaller crows tonight, but often the dance floor was rocking, with many up and dancing. We kept that going for the most part until the scheduled end of the evening, which was Midnight. A great night was had by all and it was a fun dance floor as well.

Thank You Jamie and Dillon for having me out today to work your Wedding. Hoping that everything was what you were looking for and that you totally enjoyed your day. Thank You as well, through all of the delays in finally getting your Wedding to happen, in sticking with my services. I enjoyed working with you guys through all of the meetings and of course the big day. Wishing you guys all the best as you navigate through life with your 2 little ones.

Well September's weather has folded over into October for Saturday Weddings so far. What a beautiful day this was. Now, it got quite cold into the evening, but the daytime sunshine kept things comfortable for the guests.

Today we were at Stonefields Estate to celebrate with Mackenzie and Hunter on their Wedding Day.

The day began outside with their Ceremony, which was quick and easy. They were Married a few days before, so the Ceremony was more to say their I Do's in front of Family and Friends. Once we were done it was Cocktails time outside the main venue.

Dinner was next and after a fun Grand Entrance everyone settled into a great meal, some speeches and the cake was cut before we hit the Dance floor with the First Dance. Today's First Dance was Lee Brice's I Don't Dance, which blended into the Parent Dance and ultimately the dance floor opening, which was quite strong and NEVER let up all night, right to the cutoff time of 1am. We even cleared out the building and turned the lights down again to allow Mackenzie and Hunter to have 1 more private dance before leaving. It was a real fun evening for everyone!

Thanks again Mackenzie and Hunter for having me out to keep your dance floor moving all night. It was a rather easy night of work due to the willingness of the group to dance all night. Wishing the two of you nothing but the best in your lives moving forward. Thanks again!

Well, that's a wrap on September... Another amazing weather day, which is maybe scaring me a bit for the October Weddings about how great the weather has been this month on Saturdays... will see I guess.

Anyway, Temple's Country Weddings was the scene for Shalon and Craig's Wedding Day. It's always an amazing setting for a Wedding, with the Ceremony in the forest and the Reception in their fabulous venue.

We began the day in the forest for the Ceremony, which was great, and once the I Do's were completed we moved Cocktails to the outside Patio area out back of the venue while pictures were being taken before moving things inside for Dinner. Once inside, the Bridal Party was introduced and away we went. A few speeches sprinkled throughout Dinner led us to the First Dances of the evening, which were held out on the patio (I couldn't really see them, so no photos of the First Dances unfortunately). Shalon and Craig's First Dance today was Matt Andersen's Been My Last. A combined Parents dance followed and then the dance floor opened inside for the rest of the night. Dancing was off and on most of the night, with some high spots and some low spots. Most folks were engaged back towards the bar area most the evening in conversation. We ended the night though at the cutoff time of 1am with still a good number of people on site.

Thank You Shalon and Craig for allowing me to work your fabulous day and I am wishing you guys all the best in your hopefully many years together going forward.

I will be back at it again this coming weekend with another fun couple... where? Well, you will need to tune in to find out...
