Morinville Art Club Welcome to the Page of the Morinville Art Club! Follow us as our local artists journey to enrich our community through beauty and self expression.

The Morinville Art Club is a place for local artists to hone their skills, develop techniques and portfolios, collaborate with other artists like themselves and create bonds with the community through the arts. We welcome adult artists of all genres and skill levels to join. We meet on Tuesday evenings (7-9 pm) in meeting room 5 at the MCCC. Our seasonal workshop sessions run January - May and Sep

tember - November. The cost of a yearly membership is $30 plus a pro-rated room rental fee. Instructor led classes are available, not only to members, but to drop in students as well. (We also welcome drop ins on our regular workshop nights for a charge of $10.) As a member of the MAC you have the opportunity to participate in two Art Show & Sales (May & November) and display your artwork around town in conjunction with our various partnerships, like the Morinville Museum, Higher Grounds and the MCCC. Hi everyone,

It’s been a while, and we’ve missed you! Whether you’ve painted with us in the past or have just been cheering us on from the community, we would love to reconnect.

The Morinville Art Club is excited to be part of the Morinville Festival Days this Saturday, June 20th, and we’re setting up a creative space just for you.

Here are the details:

Where to find us: Look for our tent on the south side of the Morinville Community Cultural Center.

What we’re doing: We are hosting a Community Painting project! We’d love for you to stop by, grab a brush, and literally make your mark on our collective masterpiece.

When: The community painting will be open from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

We genuinely want to catch up, hear about what you’ve been up to lately, and talk all things art.

Looking ahead to the Fall session. The theme in September is "Everything Drawing". We are looking for an instructor to teach drawing techniques. This would be for in person teaching in Morinville and you will get paid. If you would be interested or know of someone who would be interested in teaching, please email [email protected]
