Guess who’s 3 today!!!! Princess Leia 👑. I will tell you a little story! When our Remii was getting on in age we considered getting her a friend to kind of perk her up a bit. Well we saw at our local humane society what looked like two poodle puppies. So I called and they were standard poodle puppies, named Luke and Leia. They were surrendered and were dehydrated and had poisoning from algae water. They were being monitored and were not available yet. I wanted to get them both as I didn’t want to separate them but I just thought 2 were not in my cards. So I called and told them I would pass. Well a week or so went by and I couldn’t get them out of my mind I even asked my daughter if she would want to adopt one but no go. Anyway I finally called and the lady said they were both adopted to different homes but would I be interested in another dog. I passed and said not at this time. Then for some reason after a bit of time I called them back and was thinking about maybe getting another dog and they said actually the girl poodle was coming back as it didn’t work out where she was. My heart was pounding was there something wrong with the dog? Why was she coming back? Found out one of my daughter’s friends who worked there took Leia home but her dogs didn’t like her. So she was upset but her dogs of course came first! Well the rest is history and I still think of Luke and wished he was ours but everything happens for a reason and then I might not have my Teddi! Leia is the most happy loving dog! She loves every animal, person, child. Happy 3rd Birthday our Princess Leia! ❤️
