Congratulations to our One Acts cast and crew for an outstanding showing at the Regional Drama Festival this weekend in Moose Jaw. Though we will not be moving on to provincials this year, we are very proud of all that we accomplished and want to give a special shout out to our award winners from the festival:

Congratulations as well to Cornerstone Christian School Moose Jaw on winning Runner-Up Best Overall Production, and to Walter W. Brown High School in Langham for winning Overall Best Production. Both will represent Moose Jaw - Region 2 at Provincials next Thursday-Saturday at Peacock, right here in Moose Jaw. Best of luck to both groups! You had excellent shows!

Staff and Students who didn't get a chance to see our play this week should try to attend a special dress rehearsal performance in the Drama Room at Vanier on Thursday after school (3:45pm-4:30pm). Listen to announcements this week for more info.

What an incredible performance by our Cast and Crew of LAUGHING STOCK by Bradley Hayward at the Sask Drama One Acts Festival (Region 2) last night!! We're so proud of our team! Wish us luck! Day two begins tonight at 7pm at Peacock's Centennial Auditorium.

Congratulations to all community members on your success with this show! The notoriety of Moose Jaw theatre continues to grow with shows like this. A special shout out to the Vanier Collegiate students, parents, and alumni and Holy Trinity staff involved in the production. Way to go!!! 🎭

Notoriously Moose Jaw Wins Top Honours at TheatreFest 2026 🏆 April 11, 2026

Created by two “notoriously unknown” local playwrights, Joan Stumborg and Debbie Burgher, and performed by the Moose Jaw Community Players, Notoriously Moose Jaw, presented by 54 Dental , has taken top honours at TheatreFest 2026 in Regina.

The production competed against theatre groups from across Saskatchewan and was awarded *Winning Entry, the festival’s highest honour, along with five additional awards.

This original production highlights a unique theatrical take on 14 individual stories from the history of Moose Jaw. Through a series of lively vignettes, real historical moments are transformed into funny, moving, emotional, and unforgettable stage stories, featuring some of Moose Jaw’s most notorious characters. A major theatrical undertaking, Notoriously Moose Jaw features a cast and crew of over 30, along with original sets and local talent.

AUDITION CALL

We are hosting auditions for our upcoming production LES MISÉRABLES

Auditions will be held:
• Winnipeg, MB, on May 2nd and 3rd
• Regina, SK, on May 4th and 5th
• Edmonton, AB, on May 7th and 8th

Note: A youth audition notice for Little Cosette and Young Eponine will be posted at a later date. Please do not submit for these roles until that notice has gone out.
