Happy Bastards’ combat demo is returning to Steam for Gamescom until September 14!
You play as Kev, a shameless (and shameful) opportunist looking for fortunes, glory, and most importantly fame. With a band of ragtag bastards at your command, it will be up to you to manage, coordinate, and order them around in this turn-based tactical game.
On the battlefield, you play as the strategist, moving to the sidelines as you let your bastards do all the fighting for you. Placement is key and every tactical choice matters in this grid-based and turn-based combat system. Use your command points wisely to help your bastards win the fights by swapping them or giving them a boost. And that prisoner you just took in to use as a meat shield? You can also order them to fight for you.
When fame is the prize, everything’s fair game.
