The Universe is the first release in a stunning "Space; the final frontier" series. Minted on a 65mm 3oz black proof blank showing the full observable universe. Artist's logarithmic scale conception of the observable universe with the Solar System at the center, galaxies, cosmic web and the Big Bang's invisible plasma on the edge.
The observable universe is a spherical region of the universe comprising all matter that can be observed from Earth or its space-based telescopes and exploratory probes at the present time, because electromagnetic radiation from these objects has had time to reach the Solar System and Earth since the beginning of the cosmological expansion. There are at least 2 trillion galaxies in the observable universe. Assuming the universe is isotropic, the distance to the edge of the observable universe is roughly the same in every direction. That is, the observable universe has a spherical volume (a ball) centered on the observer. Every location in the universe has its own observable universe, which may or may not overlap with the one centered on Earth.

This gorgeous 2 Oz Silver coin is dedicated to the 500-th Anniversary of one of the greatest artists and inventors of all times – Leonardo da Vinci. The coin features the famous the wonderful image of the Vitruvian Man, and comes in a themed blister that includes the Certificate of Authenticity. The mintage is only 500 pcs worldwide. Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci, 15 April 1452 – 2 May 1519, was an Italian polymath whose areas of interest included invention, painting, sculpting, architecture, science, music, mathematics, engineering, literature, anatomy, geology, astronomy, botany, writing, history, and cartography. He has been variously called the father of paleontology, ichnology, and architecture, and is widely considered one of the greatest painters of all time. Sometimes credited with the inventions of the parachute, helicopter and tank, his genius epitomized the Renaissance humanist ideal.

Description & Design

This extraordinary silver coin features original artistry in an impressive design depicting the 12 animals in the Chinese lunar calendar. Portrayed in year order, the animals encircle a traditional Taoist symbol known as a bagua, a phenomenal representation of an important Chinese cultural tradition, the coin is "antiqued" by hand to add deep tone with a unique grained effect for an aged appearance.

Lunar Coin Design

The coin’s reverse depicts the heads of the 12 animals of the zodiac in year order encircling a central bagua, a motif incorporating Taoist trigrams, or symbols comprising three lines. Each trigram represents one of eight fundamental elements or concepts: heaven/sky, lake, fire, thunder, wind, water, mountain or earth. Within these is the yin yang symbol denoting universal balance. A pattern encloses the central bagua and stylized clouds decorate the outer rim of the coin.

Presentation Packaging and Numbered Certificate of Authenticity

Each coin is housed in a classic black display case within a themed shipper and is accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.

First coin in a new series: Asian Mythology. Smartminted(r) on a 55mm 3oz silver blank in high relief. Antique finished with partial color (red) and partial proof finish (the sword). Make sure to get the first coin in the series as just 333 pcs are released.
Zhong Kui is a deity in Chinese mythology. Traditionally regarded as a vanquisher of ghosts and evil beings, and reputedly able to command 80,000 demons, his image is often painted on household gates as a guardian spirit, as well as in places of business where high-value goods are involved.
Zhong Kui's popularity in folklore can be traced to the reign of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang China (712 to 756). According to Song Dynasty sources, once the Emperor Xuanzong was gravely ill. He had a dream in which he saw two ghosts. The smaller of the ghosts stole a purse from imperial consort Yang Guifei and a flute belonging to the emperor. The larger ghost, wearing the hat of an official, captured the smaller ghost, tore out his eye and ate it. He then introduced himself as Zhong Kui. He said that he had sworn to rid the empire of evil. When the emperor awoke, he had recovered from his illness. So he commissioned the court painter Wu Daozi to produce an image of Zhong Kui to show to the officials. This was highly influential to later representations of Zhong Kui.

Unique details feature this coin as small as minting allows. Hint: for the 4th issue we go Egyptian! The wheel of life is a symbolic representation of samsara (or cyclic existence). It is found on the outside walls of Tibetan Buddhist temples and monasteries in the Indo-Tibetan region, to help ordinary people understand Buddhist teachings.

"Little Red Riding Hood" is a European fairy tale about a young girl and a Big Bad Wolf. Its origins can be traced back to the 10th century to several European folk tales, including one from Italy called The False Grandmother (Italian: La finta nonna), later written among others by Italo Calvino in the Italian Folktales collection; the best known versions were written by Charles Perrault and the Brothers Grimm.
The story has been changed considerably in various retelling and subjected to numerous modern adaptations and readings. Other names for the story are: "Little Red Ridinghood", "Little Red Cap" or simply "Red Riding Hood". It is number 333 in the Aarne's Thompson classification system for folktales.
