Developed in Spring 2012, BATTLEWAR is a series of professional wrestling events focused on delivering an exciting brand of live action to the ticket holders. With a variety of talent, styles and characters, BATTLEWAR is a unique concept pitting only the best against the best in the squared circle. The only venue fitting enough for such an event is the famous Foufounes Électriques, located in downtown Montreal.

Anniversaries are special. We cherish the memories and times that have passed us by, but we also celebrate what’s to come.

We did just that last night, and we did it with you – our fans. Thank you, thank you and thank you for making it an unforgettable night, but also the biggest crowd in our history.

What’s next? Well, we do it again on Sunday, May 24 at Foufounes Electriques!

Here are the results coming out of last night…

1. Leah Sparks continued the roll she’s on with her victory over “Young Lover” Bray Dello Russo in our bonus match.

2. The trio of Plein Gout defeated Foufounes Electriques Champion, Michel Plante and Les VIP in highly entertaining 3 on 3 action, with some help from Matt Falco.

3. DANTE emerged victorious over Tyler Nox in a back-and-forth contest.

4. Mathis Myre, who officially secured his spot on BATTLEWAR’s main roster defeated the returning Keven Gray in an extremely fast paced encounter.

5. Despite their best efforts, “Triple X” S*###y Eddy and Giant Tiger were unable to overcome the duo of Leon Saver and Dreya Mitchell, who picked up the tag team win.

6. Les VIP got a measure of revenge on Matt Falco, as they assisted The Evil Blanchard on his win.

7. Words cannot do justice to explain the spectacle that was Thomas Dubois versus “Mononc” St-Jacques.

Closing moments saw Mathis Myre return to neutralize Twiggy, but accidentally striking St-Jacques with a chair, giving the pathway to victory to Dubois, who continues his reign as BATTLEWAR Champion.

Again, you had to be there. If you weren’t? Shame on you.

For months, we’ve been waiting to hear from “Mononc” St-Jacques about why it has taken him so long to use his guaranteed opportunity at the BATTLEWAR Championship.

Well, he pulled over on the side of the road on the way to Foufounes Electriques to speak his mind and it got us VERY fired up.

Oh, and the match that everyone is talking about -- BATTLEWAR: Dubois vs St-Jacques.

Tonight’s championship match between Thomas Dubois and “Mononc” St-Jacques has everybody talking.

That includes former three-time BATTLEWAR Champion, Big Magic.

As previously reported, Giant Tiger will return from suspension on Sunday when he teams with “Triple X” S*###y Eddy to face Leon Saver and Dreya Mitchell.

The only thing is, he can’t pull his pants down.

If Giant Tiger refuses to comply, not only will he and “The S*x Express” be immediately disqualified, but he risks further suspension and fines.

In other news, we think Saver and Mitchell should consider “The Party Poopers” as a tag team name.
