Here is the chance to explore restorative potential of Performance Art and to create from a space of deep self-awareness in a supporting environment. Please, join us for Mending Rituals, Performance Art workshop at the Studio Fleur d'asphalte, May 19th-May 21.

In this workshop, we will explore a variety of states, spaces and times “in-between” through the methods of performance art. The shifts across stages of life, uncertain times and cultural and social changes, are examples of transitional experiences which offer the opportunity for powerful and profound transformations. In this workshop we will work with personal and collective histories of change including the subjects of migration, displacement, immigration and living between two (or more) cultures and/or states of being - to initiate in-depth creative processes. Working with the concept of liminality (a state of transitioning between major life stages), participants are invited to explore the spaces and times ‘in-between’ as a potent material for performance creation.

We are reaching out to propose a space for rehearsals with a very good membership deal and we hope it might be of interest to you.
Studio Fleur d'asphalte (located in the heart of Petite-Patrie, 5 min walk from Beaubien) is looking for a small group of inspiring artists to join our team. If you are a dance, performance, theatre, martial artist, yoga or a holistic practitioner looking for an affordable space to rehearse or work and are interested to benefit from low rates for your consistent practice, we would love to share with you our membership program.

Today we have some openings in our morning rental program.
This option is perfect for Yoga classes, QiGong, or any other practice happening in the mornings between 7am to 11am.
The program consists of 16 hours/monthly of studio time for a fixed price of $240 per month. This membership program requires a commitment for 3 months.

We have a few spots available for new members starting NOW and we would love to hear from you!

Bon matin ou belle soirée à vous,

Que vous soyez ombre ou lumière, aube ou crépuscule, plutôt lève-tôt ou noctambule, que vous vous couchiez avec les poules ou que vous vous leviez au chant du coq, le studio est là pour vous accueillir, vous et vos élans dansants, vos envies de mouvements, vos besoins de répétitions. Il est à votre choix votre cocon pour créer, votre espace pour enseigner ou le lieu idéal pour faire le "party" sans vous brouiller avec vos voisins.

Venez Danser ! Venez danser en solo ou en groupe, suivre ou donner un cours, créer votre chorégraphie, répéter votre spectacle*.

Dansez : danse Contact, danse contemporaine, danse avec ou sans tutus. Dansez la gigue (sans souliers ferrés) ou le Tango. Dansez à votre façon, à votre goût, à votre gré.
