Hey long time no see! I've been enjoying the singular Montréal summer and getting things moving careers wise while also working on myself. I'm happy to announce that one of my works will be featured in the NDG community council exhibition for NDGArts week! I love the NDG-CDN neighbourhood so I'm happy to be included in a community event.
Also, I have a new artist photo. Interesting? Too dramatic? What do you think? 😆

21 years without Mom. Feels so short and so long. I always think of her when I hear this song and it always inspires such beautiful landscapes in my minds eye 💖

I finally get to start Sailor Saturn my favourite! A fellow Sailor Moon fan once said my choice of favourite sailor was so emo. I mean she's not wrong haha. But that's who I am inside so yeah 🥴🪐

I call this 'Christmas in Catan'! This is another small painting on paper that was a gift to a friend who is obsessed with Catan the board game. I enjoyed changing the landscape into a winter scene and I added more pine trees to make it more Christmas-y. The second image is the original game illustration

Glare aside, I'm glad I found these clear frames for my photo sized paintings! I've been in a bit of a rut creative motivation-wise and I've found one of the best ways to deal with it is to create small things with minimal pressure. And creating for others also helps so this one's a gift!

This year has mostly been a dumpster fire but then I looked through my photos of the year and I realized it's far from all bad and I'm thankful I'm still alive and creating, no matter at what speed. I'll be focusing on my health more than normal (ie stop neglecting myself haha) and I'm hopeful that will allow me to bring more dreamy visuals to life. I'll never give up on creating and I hope you don't either, no matter how productive we are! Life ≠ productivity
