Join the artists featured in the exhibition 𝐴𝑢 𝑠𝑒𝑢𝑖𝑙 𝑑𝑢 𝑐𝑜𝑟𝑝𝑠 𝑠𝑒𝑛𝑠𝑖𝑏𝑙𝑒 for a series of talks that will give you the chance to discover their artistic approach and deepen your understanding of the works on display.
𝗔𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗵𝗼 𝗔𝗹𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘇 (.alva) and 𝗠𝘆𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗲 () will be in attendance on Saturday 13 June at 3 pm.
" [...] 𝗠𝘆𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗲 reimagines the earth itself as a body.
By aligning her work with the earth’s longevity, she offers a meditation on stillness through woven landscapes of fiber draped across rocks, materials that will inevitably outlast the viewer. Through a repertoire of dualities such as soft/hard, concave/convex, Raiche translates the language of fluidity into rigged forms full of gesture recontextualizing visual language typically reserved for daunting borders, she depicts the earth not as a site of barriers, but as a body of hospitality. "

𝗔𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗵𝗼 𝗔𝗹𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘇 et 𝗠𝘆𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗲 seront présentes le samedi 13 juin à 15 h.
« [...] Le travail de 𝗠𝘆𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗲 place, quant à lui, la temporalité du corps en suspension entre l’état organique et minéral. En créant un parallèle entre les formes du paysage et celles du corps, deux temporalités se croisent et nous rappellent que le vivant, au travers du cycle de vie et de mort, fait partie du processus lent de la formation du paysage, qui l’incorpore, le précède et le succède. Le corps n’y est plus seulement empreinte, mais sédiment. »
