Theatre for all audiences since 1980. Geordie Productions entertains, provokes thought, fires up the imagination and challenges audiences of all ages.

We celebrate the art of theatre and its impact by working with emerging and established artists from various disciplines and cultural backgrounds to create theatre that is provocative, relevant and enchanting; inspiring dialogue between communities, children and parents as well as teachers and students of all ages. We are committed to giving new life to existing Canadian plays as well as developing and contributing new great works to the national canon. We look to constantly broaden our audience base by bringing productions to as many areas and communities as we can reach.

Rehearsals for Jordan are officially underway!

Our 2025 Mainstage production is hitting the road this season for a national tour, with stops in Winnipeg, Toronto, Vancouver, and Ottawa.

Today, the company has come together for the first day of rehearsals, and we couldn't be more excited to return to this powerful and important play.

Nine years.

That's how long Violette has been part of the Geordie team, most recently as our Associate Producer.

Over nearly a decade, Violette has worn many hats and made an incredible impact. From writing countless grant applications and becoming our resident database wizard to composing music for several Geordie productions, she has helped shape Geordie in more ways than we can count.

While it's difficult to say goodbye, we're also incredibly excited to see where this next chapter takes you as you continue to grow in the world of professional music and sound design. We know amazing things are ahead.
