Just some of the chaos of Mardi Gras as Dragged Over Coals continued its "Yellow Top" Summer Tour on The Plateau in Montréal last Saturday.

A warm shout out to folks at Café Mariposa last Saturday for our Mardi Gras party. You always make it special for Dragged Over Coals.

First the amazing musicians I have the pleasure of performing with: Donna Rae (Donna Martirano), Kaspar Knoll, Joan Bell, David Jordan, Johnny Coull and our impromptu guests Maurice Bigio and Linda Benoy.

Second, the dancers, Jacquie Dinsmore, Pat Hardt, and Hope, Shirley Bell, Karen Bell, Sandy Racicot-Day, Iman Nosseir. The sitting shoulder shakers Susan Shulman, Terry Abbott, Heather Evans, Sue and Elliot. Also Lorne Dosogne and Stewart for keeping the bar stools warm.

Finally, Annie, Fiona and Brian serving us tasty beverages and fine cuisine.

We'll be back this Saturday with more New Orleans, Funk and Blues from 2:00pm - 5:00pm just east of the Mont Royal metro station.

Dragged Over Coals was back in JMC Studio Montreal at the end of May laying down tracks for 5 more tunes for our upcoming album.

Featured here Phil Peters, Kaspar Knoll, Chris Gibbs, James Elliott and the Studio wiz himself John McColgan.

IMHO - You folks are going to have some great new original and classic New Orleans, Blues and Funk music to listen to in the next few months.
