Nous l’avions rêvée, imaginée… et l’Illusion s’est bel et bien réalisée.
Bien plus qu’un festival, Illusion est une grande famille 😍
C’est avec le cœur plein d’émotions et la tête remplie de souvenirs que nous souhaitons vous dire MERCI!🤗
Illusionnistes, artistes de la vie au grand cœur, Illusion ne serait rien sans vous.
Hé oui, il nous a fallu du temps pour revenir de ce voyage à travers les âges et l’espace.
Les nombreux sourires, les accolades, les retrouvailles et tous ces moments de bonheur que nous avons vécus ont laissé des traces. Des traces intemporelles et indélébiles auxquelles vous avez tous participé.
Illusion, c’est avant tout une aventure humaine faite de rencontres.
Une rencontre avec Patricia Algier et son équipe du Centre de Plein air Val Chester qui nous font confiance et qui travaillent avec nous main dans la main pour réaliser nos rêves et faire d’Illusion une réalité.
La région du Centre-du-Québec, Tourisme Bois-Francs, la municipalité de Chesterville , Qc et tous ses habitants qui nous soutiennent et croient en notre projet.
Évidemment, rien n’aurait été possible sans tous nos artistes:
Les DJ qui, avec une malice inexplicable, nous ont fait taper du pied jour et nuit.
Les performeurs (PyroLumina, Jordana, Silika, Raphael) venu ponctuer ces rythmes endiablés en nous éblouissant par leur créativité et leurs prouesses toujours plus grandes (mention spéciale à GardeFeu pour leur perpétuelle efficacité).
Les artistes visuels (NAME., Diagraf, Poly-Show, AS.WED, Cornelia, Sarah) qui n’ont cessé de nous transporter dans leur univers pour un voyage haut en couleur.
Les valeureux constructeurs, menuisiers et charpentiers qui ont travaillé sans relâche et avec passion pour concrétiser nos rêves les plus fous (Pagan Yupyup, Max, Manu Brouillet, Luc Beaulieu, Alex).
L’équipe de Silent Monkey qui, par sa patience et son professionnalisme, a su nous garantir un son impeccable sur les deux scènes.
Nicolas Cancino et son équipe de stage managers qui ont avec brio permis aux DJ de jouer dans les meilleures conditions possible.
Sans oublier Cosmovision Records et leur charisme contagieux qui ont su créer un univers éphémère, enchanteur et rassembleur (chapeau bas à Nico pour sa décoration envoutante).
Puis, une mention plus que spéciale à Simon Labz pour les Tele-Fun et aux infatigables travailleurs et créateurs Mathieu Stauch, Mathieu Bories, Julie Cardinal, Or Lūminaria, carl, Arnaud Comeau pour leurs installations scénographiques et une baie des pirates digne de l’Île au trésor.
Bravo et merci au large et diversifié panel d’intervenants et passionnés qui ont joué un rôle fondamental dans l’animation du festival, créant une nouvelle plateforme d’échanges et de rencontres (La Récré, Exeko, Elsa, Laurence, Eve, Catherine, Dangel, Jorge, Mark, Stéphane).
Les artisans et restaurants qui, à travers leurs créations, nous partagent leur passion.
Merci aussi aux photographes et vidéographes présents (Grizzli Photo, Frédéric Lapointe, Gravel Freeman, The Nomadic Daughter Photography) qui ont croqué sur le vif les plus beaux moments du voyage.
Enfin, nous voulons saluer le travail remarquable accompli par l’équipe verte qui renforce notre volonté de s’enraciner dans des valeurs écoresponsables (Charlotte Hoarau, Hugo etc ).
Bien sûr, Illusion a pu compter sur l’aide de nombreux bénévoles et partenaires sans qui rien ne serait possible.
Merci pour votre soutien inébranlable et les sourires qui ne quittaient jamais vos visages!
La première trilogie d’Illusion touchant à sa fin, il est temps de se dire au revoir.
C’est le cœur chargé d’amour que nous prenons une pause pour explorer de nouvelles idées et pistes de création afin de vous surprendre une fois de plus à notre retour en 2021.
D’ici là, restez à l’affût… vous n’êtes pas à l’abri de nouvelles aventures!

We dreamed about it, pictured it... the Illusion did come true.
Much more than a festival, Illusion is a big family.
Our hearts are filled with emotions and our heads with memories. And now we want to say... THANK YOU!
Illusionists, kindhearted artists of life, Illusion wouldn’t be possible without you.
Well, it took us some time to come back from this journey through time and space.
The countless smiles, hugs, reunions and all those moments of happiness we experienced left their marks. Timeless and indelible marks that you all helped to create.
Illusion is, above all, a human adventure made up of encounters.
A meeting with Patricia and her team at centre de plein air de Val Chester who trust us and work with us hand in hand to make our dreams come true and turn Illusion into a reality.
The Centre-du-Québec region, Tourisme Bois-Francs, the municipality of Chesterville and all its residents who support us and believe in our project.
The DJs who, with an inexplicable mischief, made us dance day and night.
The performers (Pyrolumina, Jordana, Silika, Raphael) who came to punctuate these wild rhythms by astonishing us with their ever-growing creativity and prowess (special mention to GardeFeu for being incredibly effective like always).
The visual artists (Name, Diagraf, Polyshow, As.wed, Cornelia, Sarah) who kept on transporting us into their universe for a colourful journey.
The brave builders and carpenters who have worked tirelessly and passionately to make our wildest dreams come true (Pagan, Max, Manu, Luc, Alex).
Silent Monkey's team who, through their patience and professionalism, ensured that the sound on both stages was impeccable.
Nicolas Cancino and his team of stage managers who brilliantly allowed the DJs to play in the best possible conditions.
Not to mention Cosmovision and their contagious charisma, which have created a fleeting, enchanting and unifying universe (hats off to Nico for his bewitching decoration).
A very special mention to Simon Labz for the Tele-Fun and to the tireless workers and creators Mathieu, mathieu, julie, aurélie, carl, arnaud for their scenographic installations and a pirate bay worthy of Treasure Island.
Congratulations and many thanks to the wide and diversified panel of participants and enthusiasts who played a fundamental role in the animation of the festival, creating a new platform for exchanges and meetings (La Récré, Exeko, Elsa, Laurence, Eve, Catherine, Dangel, Jorge, Mark, Stéphane).
The artisans and restaurants who, through their creations, share their passion with us.
We also wish to thank the photographers and videographers who captured the most beautiful moments of the journey.
And finally, we want to acknowledge the remarkable work accomplished by the green team, which strengthens our desire to embrace eco-responsible values (Charlotte, Hugo, etc.).
Of course, Illusion was fortunate enough to count on the help of many volunteers and partners without whom nothing would be possible.
Thank you for your unwavering support and the everlasting smiles on your faces!
As the first trilogy of Illusion comes to an end, it's time to say goodbye for now.
With a heart full of love, we take a break to explore new ideas and creative avenues to surprise you once again when we return in 2021.
