A leading expert on the historical flute, Mika Putterman is the founder of ADLF. An Opus Award winner and The JUNO Awards nominee, she has performed with the Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin, Il Fondamento (BE), Teatre Nuovo (US), Pacific Baroque, and many more. Mika has recorded for Analekta, ATMA Classique, CBC, Outhere Music, Radio-Canada, and others. She on the faculty at the Schulich School of Music at McGill University where she teaches historical flutes.

A versatile clarinetist, Mark Simons has collaborated with renowned artists in the fields of jazz, baroque, classical, and Eastern European folk music. He has performed as a soloist with the Quebec Symphony Orchestra, Ensemble Caprice, Kaba Horo, Kleztory, as well as with jazz pianists Matt Herskowitz and Taurey Butler.

Saxophonist, clarinetist, flutist and conductor Jennifer Bell has been an active presence on the Montréal scene since 1985. Co-founder of Streetnix Jazz and the Altsys Jazz Orchestra, she performed hundreds of concerts across North America and Europe, and recorded numerous CDs. Jennifer is a lecturer at the Schulich School of Music at McGill University, and is an in-demand clinician and adjudicator. She has received awards from the Conseil québécois de la musique, the Women’s Y Foundation, and the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal.

Melissa Pipe is a baritone saxophonist, bassoonist, composer & arranger who lives in Montreal. As well as leading her own quintet and sextet, she performs regularly with jazz, hip hop, indie, and classical ensembles. As a leader and freelancer, she has performed at The Montreal International Jazz Festival, Suoni Per Il Popolo, Osheaga, and POP Montreal. A versatile player and writer, she has written for small group, chamber ensemble, big band and symphony orchestra.

Terry Lim est un flûtiste aux multiples facettes, connu pour sa prise de risque musicale et son art brillant. Il est membre du TENMC et de Charm of Finches. Il est également directeur artistique du CMF. En plus de se produire sur scène, il enseigne à l’Université McMaster, est juge de festivals et intervient comme conférencier invité.
