Winter is the time when connection matters most. At UP House, we work every day to end isolation for adult living with mental health challenges by offering members a place to return to—a place where they can build meaningful relationships, contribute to daily work, and feel part of a supportive community.
But right now, one of the most important parts of our community needs your support: our professional kitchen.
Our kitchen equipment is several years old, and cooking is a central part of our program. For 15 years, UP House has been a place where members prepare meals, learn cooking skills, and gather around food—a grounding and healing part of their day.
Today, we’re facing more repair and replacement issues than ever before. A functioning kitchen is essential for:
Preparing 3500 meals a year
Serving a daily population of up to 25 members
Supporting members to learn, grow, and connect
This Giving Tuesday, we’re asking our community to come together to raise $20,000 to repair and relaunch our Kitchen Program.
