We are leaping for joy! We will be resuming Afro Cuban folkloric dance classes this January!!!! Details coming soon.....

Unfortunately we are going to have to postpone starting classes due to rising covid numbers. We want you to remain safe during this complicated time.

Yes it is disappointing and yes there are some classes that are opening, however with the type of class we run and the people who attend we had to make a difficult decision.

We hope to you understand and will join us upon reopening.

Meanwhile we hope you keep dancing at home, physical distancing and listening to Afro Cuban dance music. If you need more information on where to listen let us know!

Due to the announcement yesterday we will be postponing our classes until further notice. Keep dancing at home and virtually with friends through social media. Stay safe everyone.

: le Gouvernement du Québec a ordonné la fermeture de tous les lieux de rassemblement, ce qui inclut les bars, les gyms et les bibliothèques. Les épiceries et les pharmacies demeurent ouvertes et les restaurants devront limiter leur clientèle à 50 % de leur capacité.

La Ville de Montréal soutient ces mesures nécessaires pour protéger la population. Je tiens par ailleurs à saluer la résilience et la solidarité des Montréalaises et Montréalais. Le respect de ces directives est essentiel. Nous nous devons d’être solidaires les un•es envers les autres.

The Government of Quebec has ordered the closure of all recreational gathering places, including bars, gyms and libraries. Grocery stores and pharmacies remain open and restaurants will remain open at 50% of their capacity.

La Ville de Montréal supports these measures which are necessary in order to protect the population. I also wish to salute the resilience and solidarity of Montrealers. Compliance with these guidelines is essential. Together, we are all stronger.
