Originally from Ecuador, Samuel Bramwell was first introduced to the program Virtual DJ at the young age of 14. In his high school years Sam became obsessed with the technical sides of DJing that he could explore using this program. Sam also learned how to produce his own tracks using the programs Reason, and later Ableton. In his very early career Sam had a few shows in Ecuador where he played at house parties. He also did his final high school project based on the idea that DJing songs together in an incredible art form that should be recognized by more people. In these early years Sam evolved from mixing any kind music to discovering and focusing mainly on minimal techno. After high school Sam moved to Montreal to continue pursuing his dreams of playing music for people. In 2015 Sam learned to mix using CDJ's and after that turntables. In 2016 Sam played his debut set in Montreal on Halloween. It mostly included tracks considered to be tech house, and it was well received by a wild crowd. In 2017 Sam released his first podcast with another local Montreal techno DJ and producer known as Fuentes. Most recently Sam opened for Fuentes at the Montreal venue Red Room where he surprised the venue owners with his great musical taste, technical mixing skills, and his ability to fill up the dance floor all night long.
