[EN] Here’s our q***r agenda ✌🏽🇵🇸 A free Palestine. A world without bombs and occupation. A population free from exploitation by tech oligarchs. 2SLGBTQIA+ free from political pinkwashing and corporate greed. In our struggle, no one is free until everyone is free.

So, at the end of this month please help us (Helem Montréal & Festival Opulence) fundraise for Afro-Lebanese living under siege and child and adult Palestinians in illegal detention by a state seeking to ethnically cleanse them. 🇱🇧🇵🇸

By attending our movie night of this years Q***r Cinema for Palestine program (Q***r Cinema for Palestine), each film ticket above $10 helps contribute to these campaigns and to the filmmakers.

🎬You’ll only see these 6 short films by and featuring QT Palestinians here! We are one of the last screening in MTL and of the the QCP program across 60 countries.

The event will take place in and indoor/outdoor space June 27th at 7:30pm. 📍Acadie metro 🚇 🎟️Tickets are hosted on zeffy and more information including accessibility is on opulencemovienight.carrd.co.

Short accessibility♿️ statement: The festival program is in English with French subtitles. Light snacks and drinks will be served free with the ticket. Tickets are sliding scale. The space has a ramp, but there is a small lip at the door to cross. There are two genderless single stall washrooms. Air filtration is onsite as well.

Join .opulence (collectif opulence) and at as of 7:30pm! We will snack, socialize and participate in a collective art activity while we wait for sundown. We will then enjoy the films in its outdoor space under the stars! This will be followed by a moderated discussion, hosts TBA🗣️

Attending has the added benefit of fundraising for several campaigns for 9aza and L3banon through sliding scale tickets ($10+).

March 1rst from 10:30-3:30 we will be hosting a retreat day. A day of rejuvenation and connection for QTBIPOC community. A one-day staycation-style retreat for our community to unwind, experience self and community care, and create community through light-hearted activities and nourishment. A safer space for relaxation, creativity, and bonding. Graciously funded by leadership grant and co-facilitated with .art, , and . Lunch catered by :)

Hey folx! 🌈✨ Looking for a chill Saturday evening with good people, good vibes, and a chance to get creative? Join us for the 5@7 Art Social Club! This is your space to connect with other BIPOC friends in a 2SLGBTQIA+ friendly environment, where we’ll be making art, sharing a meal, and just hanging out.

For the last two weeks of September and into October, come as you are and pay sliding scale ($40-$55 for all three weeks). We’ve got everything covered—from meals (thanks to the amazing !) to lattes and teas you can whip up yourself. You can take the night at your own pace, whether that’s diving into some art with guidance from our collective, or just lounging around and meeting new people. 🖤🤎🧡

We’d love to see you there! Spaces are limited, so reserve your spot. Masking is highly encouraged and further accessibility info is provided in the comments.
