The Art of Isabelle Truchon

The Art of Isabelle Truchon The Art of Isabelle Truchon is the culmination of my artistic creations and collections. I've been c I work in collections with a minimum of 40 pieces.

Creator and maker of fine contemporary art, my works gravitate towards natural environments, the textural, linear, and experimental. I am attracted to organic materials such as bones, bark, forest floor which I often incorporate in my creations. Ink and charcoal count among my most favorite media, yet I employ oil and cold wax most commonly. This practice allows me to evolve and grow as I study my subject and discover various new methods along the art making process.

Fire Horse 2026 - I haven’t painted galloping horses in a while and the upcoming 2026 Chinese zodiak, the Year of the Fire Horse inspired me for this sweet piece. One of my favorite quotes came to me at the thought; “Go confidently in the direction of your dreams, live the life you’ve imagined!” - Emerson
