The Artist Confluence presents Embodied, an all-women group exhibition featuring paintings, fibre works, and sculptures.

Part of the Post Invisibles’ Biennale, themed What I Carry, Embodied is a lush and exuberant show full of life, colour, and hope, while also engaging with more difficult themes of trauma, anxiety, and invisible labour.

We each know our own body and what it carries intimately, but how do other women artists relate to the body? In what ways is their experience universal, and in what ways is it unique? Embodied will explore these questions with works by Lea Elise, Heather Euloth, Madeline Richards, Hannaleah Ledwell, Liza Sokolovskaya, and Kara Eckler.

Embodied will be shown at Atelier 531 in the Belgo Building, from March 26th through April 11.
The opening is held on Thursday, March 26 from 6pm until 9pm.
The show opening days are Tuesday to Saturday, 12pm to 6pm.

The Artist Confluence présente Embodied, une exposition collective d'artistes femmes, comprenant des peintures, des œuvres textiles et des sculptures.

Faisant partie de la Biennale Post Invisibles, dont le thème est Ce que je porte, Embodied est une exposition riche et exubérante, pleine de vie, de couleur et d’espoir, tout en abordant des thèmes plus difficiles tels que le traumatisme, l’anxiété et le travail invisible.

Nous connaissons chacune intimement notre propre corps et ce qu’il porte, mais quel est le rapport des ces artistes femmes au corps? De quelles manières leur expérience est-elle universelle, et en quoi est-elle unique? Embodied explore ces questions à travers les œuvres de Lea Elise, Heather Euloth, Madeline Richards, Hannaleah Ledwell, Liza Sokolovskaya et Kara Eckler.

Embodied est présentée à l’Atelier 531 à l'Édifice Belgo, du 26 mars au 11 avril.
Le vernissage aura lieu le jeudi 26 mars de 18 h à 21 h.
Les heures d’ouverture de l’exposition sont du mardi au samedi, de 12 h à 18 h.

Another crit night is scheduled!
These are always a great way to connect with fellow artists, get to see some beautiful works up close and help those of us who want a fresh pair of eyes.

The Artist Confluence would like to warmly invite one and all to an autumn gallery hop on St Laurent this Saturday, September 27th! Join us to embrace the increasingly crisp and colourful days as we explore some of the galleries St. Laurent has to offer. On the menu: Galerie Eli Kerr, Galerie Patrick Mikhail, Galerie Simon Blais, Galerie Nicolas Robert, and more. We are meeting at Café Myriad (28 Mont-Royal West) at 1pm, see the attached invites for our full itinerary. Let us know if you’ll be joining us! It is that time of the year again - our yearly summer picnic with all the artsy souls we know!

Join us for a potluck picnic at Parc Lafontaine on Saturday the 12th of July. Besides celebrating the nice weather, we’ll also drink to one of our organizers’ health as Liza turns a year older.

Bring some tasty foods, some refreshing drinks, a blanket and your sunny disposition.
Please dress in your most weather appropriate outfits. Lets prioritize bold colours, fun prints or anything sparkly (Liza’s favourite colour).

We will be serving sangria. Please RSVP so that we make sure there are enough refreshments for all.

If the weather is not on our side, the picnic will be rescheduled.

DATE CORRECTION 
The crit is happening Sunday the 23rd of February. 

As promised we are hosting an online crit night. It's more of a crit afternoon! 

So mark your calendars, Sunday 23nd, 2pm-5pm. 

We hope to get our international artists connected as we've been very Montreal centric. 
This is also open to Montreal artists that might have a hard time coming to our in person crits due to distance or scheduling.

We have about 7 spots available to present work so please send us a DM to reserve yours.

If you aren't looking for feedback but would like to provide some, you are welcome to attend as a critic, just DM us.

Comme promis, nous organisons une soirée de critique en ligne. C'est plutôt un après-midi de critique! 

Marquez vos agendas, dimanche 23, de 14h à 17h.

Nous espérons mettre en contact nos artistes internationaux, car nous sommes très centrés sur Montréal.
Cet événement est également ouvert aux artistes montréalais qui ont du mal à venir à nos critiques en personne en raison de la distance ou de l'horaire.

Nous avons environ 7 places disponibles pour présenter des œuvres, alors envoyez-nous un DM pour réserver la vôtre.
