In a context where mental health needs are constantly growing, the Artruisme Foundation had the opportunity to collaborate with the McGill University Health Centre on a pilot project in art therapy, in partnership with Dr. Howard Margolese and the PEPP program.

This program was aimed at young adults experiencing a first psychotic episode, a period often marked by great emotional vulnerability and an increased need for support.

Over a 12-week period, participants took part in structured art therapy workshops, providing them with a safe space to express themselves in ways other than verbally. Through the creative process, they were able to explore their emotions, reduce their stress levels, and strengthen their sense of identity.
