Here’s a sneaky peek at what I have planned for this semester at the !
The people have spoken, and I’m very pleased to oblige!
During the watercolour illustration class, I hope to slowly help build your artistic confidence and ability to paint a picture worth a thousand words.
So the twelve week course is split into three easy to digest sections:
1) watercolour and colour theory (my favourite, could be its own class)
2) Visual story telling and illustration
3) Personal mythology
By the end of the twelve week course, you will have worked on exercises to build up or build on your own portfolio art practice. These lessons are catered to adults, and are therefore subject to adapt to the needs of the class.
But for the first class, we will be playing with Colour 🌈 we will review the colour wheel, test our materials, test out our range of colour, look at how to blend pencils and paints, the difference between warm and cold hues and try to figure out why red, blue and green make a surprisingly similar colour palette to magenta, yellow and cyan 🧐
