[ENG] SNDCHECK strives to break the barriers erected by technology, social media and the internet in general by organizing immersive events in unusual settings, where people are encouraged to live in the present moment. Detaching from the anguish of everyday life begins by spending time with the people who are dear to us. To dance with our friends, to move, to live. But above all, to do it in contexts where we are really feeling good. For our sixth stop of SLAPPED on the Road, we’re coming back to the EU for a night in one of the world’s great music cities – 04 July in Amsterdam.
We’re teaming up with our friends at Offbeat House for a proper throwdown at the iconic & historic Het Sieraad

On the ones & twos we have:
Our label head Mitch Oliver whose taste & drive have helped us build our own corner of the underground;

Our dear friend & fellow Canadian Mustafa Ismaeel who was with us in the early days of the label, elevates all he touches, and crushes parties whether live or DJing;

One of our muses Burak alias Bákayan whose hybrid-live approach truly carves out a corner to create living, precious, melodic moments in time;

The man who made it all possible [ares] A.R. le Shershaby] A.R. le Shershaby who creates musical community wherever he goes.

After a sun-drenched afternoon at we’ll be descending into our favourite Salon for an all-night-affair.

We’ll be bringing five artistic gems, three of which will release tracks on SLAPPED at the end of the month on our next VA, titled À Fleur de Son.
the.red brings a disco house pigment to convince you that House Music is Red. Frequent collaborators and connect once again to put the “Crowd In Sync”. Rumour has it has one of the deepest bags of unreleased tracks in Canada – he’ll be joined by for a b2b to close the night.

This Thursday, SLAPPED brings things back home to Montreal for a double-header takeover at

Nymra & Sofisticated hold it down for Montreal. After last summer’s Piknic mainstage set, alongside a string of residencies at Stereobar’s Les Beau Dimanches & Salon Daomé, and an iconic slot at Vision’s NOVA, we can’t wait to hear what they have to say & play.

You may know him as FRANCOYS, you may know him as Horla, but you should certainly know him. FRANCOYS joins the SLAPPED crew live for the first time since his debut on the label with one of our sultriest tunes, “s_x”.

Rounding out the open air soundbath is Mr. Mitch Oliver, whose tunes turn heads anywhere, but always seem to land best under an open sky.

Inch by inch, row by row, we’re gonna make this garden grow.
