Hi things have been really tough for me lately, and as some of you may have noticed I havent been posting much. Its not that I haven’t been creating, I just was having a hard time finishing art that wasn’t created out of grief and I wasn’t ready to share more of that. This piece is different. I went to this canvas when I was overwhelmed by everything going on, drawing this was a quiet meditation in loud moments this past month. Things are brightening for me again, and I’m excited to share more with you all soon. Thank you so much for your support & for sticking with me. It really means the world to me 😌

Holy s**t y’all!!
I started my art journey at the beginning of this year simply wanting to learn a skill and keep at it. Hobbies and New Years résolutions have never stuck for me, I’ve been too obsessed with not being good enough to be taken seriously about anything. So I began this page as a space to just accept my work in the stage it was in. It didn’t have to be perfect, or even good, I just had to try. I had no idea I was about to discover a passion, but here I am a year later, in love with creating, in love with my supporters, in love with other artists and their work.
This year gave me the space and freedom I needed to grow. This year showed me everything does not have to be a competition, I don’t have to be the best, I just gotta be me. This year taught me I have value, and so does my work.

Thanks again for all your support! I wouldn’t be here without some very special cheerleaders in my life. Happy New Year!Keep an eye out for my new shop & patreon page coming early 2020 💖
