I started drawing during the pandemic, when I didn’t have access to my studio.
What began as a way to cope with stress and stay connected to my practice eventually became an entry point into a broader research that has since expanded into other mediums, inspiring my work in performance, sculpture and installation

I’m grateful for how this simple practice continues to ground and inspire me.🌀🦋

Drawing, 2020,
Pencil and oil pastel on kraft paper
18’’ x 24’’

I see my drawings as emotional landscapes. Made through intuitive gestures, they help me connect to my body, expressing what lives inside, beyond words. 🕸️🩶

My performance 𝘚𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘙𝘦𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦, presented at .officiel, was inspired by my drawings, which became the starting point for the creative process. These abstract forms turned into choreographic scores, guiding the performers’ voice, breath, and movement.

The performers embodied the drawings through gestures inspired by the image of a knot, moving through cycles of tension, holding, and release.

So grateful for this process and all the amazing collaborators who gave shape to it. , , , , 🖤🪽

𝘛𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘉𝘰𝘥𝘺 𝘔𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘺, 2025
Pencil and oil pastel on paper
22” × 30”

This series of abstract drawings started as a way to slow down and tune in. Each line traces the imprint of internal states: tension, stillness, movement, and unraveling.

These works reflect a personal ritual of navigating what the body holds. 🩶🧬
