it’s not baba yaga’s house, it’s baba yaga’s home!!! 😤 i still can’t get over how cute this came out! i’ve been wanting to tattoo yaga’s crib for THE LONGEST TIME and i could not have had a better person for it! thank you so so so much kai for enduring the stabs and for trusting me once more to bring your idea to life 💖

creating this case for grace was such a challenge! researching all the different patterns and fitting them into the composition was incredibly fun and then seeing the whole thing come to life on the skin! also the smallest human figures i ever tattooed! we also did a representation of lady justice (3rd picture) that just fit her so well! thank you for your trust in my work and for the lovely time we spent together, grace! it was an honor 💖

“strength” for casey

i’ve been sitting here for ages trying to come up with a decent enough caption for this tattoo but i just can’t. it was a deeply special project that was made even more meaningful for the time we spent together at the session. i’m deeply grateful for our path having crossed, and wish you all the good in the world 🫶

to top it all off casey is an AMAZING photographer and took some gorgeous pictures (seriously i get so tense in front of any camera and she made me feel so at ease!) that i’ll still post more of :3 if you’re in ottawa go book with her asap!!!

ladies and gentlemen, The Boy™️

this little python bby was created based on another tattoo that i did before, and instead of a classical python pattern on the back we went for some of the abstract lines that i do! i’m super super happy with how this turned out and realized it’s my favorite way to tattoo snakes (scales are overrated). he’s mostly healed on the first two pictures — aside from some minor touch ups) and fresh outta the over on the last one :3

no começo do mês a gente do participou de um movimento muito bonito. a iniciativa é de de, com o lucro das tattoos, arrecadar fundos pra palestina — tattoos for palestine. uma pá de artistas de várias partes do mundo participaram, com muitos flashdays aqui e ali e tatuagens lindas que honram e enaltecem a riqueza e resiliência histórico-cultural do povo palestino. esse movimento me reafirma o quanto comunidade é não apenas uma construção linda e significativa, mas acima de tudo fundamental, e sou sempre profundamente grato de poder ter um trabalho que me permita viver isso das mais diversas maneiras. do rio ao mar 🍉🇵🇸

ANYWAY this was my half of the trade with the goat .ma.gi we traded a very cool dragon claw for 3 fishies on an adventure!! ngl i’m always quaking in my boots whenever i tattoo another tattoo artist ESPECIALLY if they’re someone i admire so much!!! but everything went smoothly and it was couldn’t be happier!! thank you so so so much astrid it was such an honor 🥹💖🫶
