This past weekend, KOLO - Ukrainian Living Culture was delighted to lead a workshop in traditional Ukrainian dances at the Marché Moncton Market!

We were truly grateful for the wonderful support from the community and the enthusiasm of everyone who joined us. It was heartwarming to see so many people step onto the dance floor, follow along, learn new moves, and share plenty of smiles and laughter along the way. Whether you were dancing for the first time or already knew a few steps, it was a joy to celebrate together.

Moments like these remind us why we do what we do. Through dance, we have the opportunity to share the beauty of Ukrainian culture, build connections, and bring people together regardless of age, background, or language.

A heartfelt thank you to the City of Moncton for providing this wonderful opportunity, and to everyone who came out and danced with us. We can't wait to see you again at our next performance or workshop!

Summer is here, and what better way to celebrate than with dance!

Kolo - Ukrainian Living Culture is excited to be part of Acoustica Series in Moncton this summer and to share the joy and energy of Ukrainian social dancing with our local community.

Join us on June 6 at the Marché Moncton Market, where we’ll showcase a variety of traditional dances from different regions of Ukraine. These dances are lively, fun, and easy to learn!

During our interactive workshop, you’ll have the chance to learn a few steps, join us on stage, and experience the spirit of Ukrainian dance firsthand.

Our performance and workshop begin at 11:00 a.m.

This spirit of connection is at the heart of Kolo. Through dance, we celebrate and preserve Ukrainian culture, sharing its traditions while creating meaningful connections within our community.

The Ukrainian Easter Bazaar hosted by the Ukrainian Club of Moncton was such a joyful and vibrant celebration! KOLO - Ukrainian Living Culture was thrilled to be part of it and to share authentic Ukrainian traditions with both the Ukrainian and the wider local community.

We brought spring to life through traditional children’s games played around Easter, as well as rituals for calling and welcoming the new season. Our performance also featured lively dances, including one accompanied by the Nezlamni Ensemble, which made the moment even more special.

We truly hope our calls for spring were heard, and that Moncton will soon be filled with sunshine, warmth, and blooming days ahead 🌼
