In 2012 we debuted with Yasmina Reza's Tony Award winning play God of Carnage to sold-out crowds at Artisan Village. 2013 brought Red Necklace Productions to the first ever Fundy Fringe Festival, where we debuted four new plays together under the title 'Rehearsed Beauty.' It featured the work of three emerging New Brunswick playwrights and acclaimed author Sheree Fitch's, 'At This Stage: More Wh
olly a Fool in Bright Orange Boots.' We were pleased to receive the opportunity to perform 'Rehearsed Beauty' for our Moncton audience at the Empress theatre, and collaborate with the Capitol Theatre School for the Performing Arts, by incorporating a fifth play written and performed by a student of the school. Up next Red Necklace Productions is hosting a Fracking Playwriting Contest, and a Playwrights' Support Group. We are also collaborating with local improvers for a March performance at C'est La Vie Cafe, and with local theatre artists and Sirrocco Restaurant to host Theatre Tapas Nights (starting in February), every third Thursday of the month!
