*Update, one mug and one plate left and a few other little things.* Going to leave it out until 5pm.

We don't set up stair sales in the rain... so if we do one today the sun HAS TO COME OUT, right? 🌞😎💛

How it works:
-pay what you want, cash box is hidden on stair railing or you can send etransfer to [email protected] with password theclayspace
-no holds
-no stealing please :)
-these are all either examples we made in class, really old stock, or pieces of ours that have slight cracks or imperfections
-we will update post when everything is gone or packed up for the night

Recently Amy took a fun little trip to the new pottery supply store in Halifax, and came home with these funky glazes. They are perfect for her little jellyfish, which each come with a little air plant for tentacles.

If you've never seen an air plant before, yes they are real, living plants. They don't have roots, you just mist them once in a while to keep them hydrated. All of these are available, 3️⃣0️⃣ 💲 each (trying to be sneaky because Facebook hates when we list p r i c e s). 🤣

We are looking forward to joining all the lovely vendors at the Atlantic Yarn & Fiber Festival this summer in Shediac.

Production of yarn bowls has already begun, and we have all kinds of other nifty fiber-themed items planned. We might also be a little excited to go shopping while we are at the show, when we aren't covered in mud at the studio we are a couple of fiber fiends!

A package full of super fun rice paper transfers arrived just in time for our beyond basics class starting next week! Still a couple spots available if anyone is interested, you do need to have taken an intro class (not necessarily from us) just so you know the fundamentals, but you don't need to be a pro. Its just a little step further than the intro, slightly better pots and more interesting decorating techniques.

*Please note, this class is only for individuals who have taken an intro class already.*

We are currently taking registration for our beyond basics class in April, and taking names of anyone who might be interested in our September beyond basics class. Send us a message if you are interested in either class.

This session is for anyone who has taken an intro class (with us or elsewhere) and is interested in furthering their study. We will build on the introductory skills you have learned and customize the structure of the class based on the group's particular interests and needs. We will have new materials to try, and we will demo some new decorating techniques. Class fee (295$ plus tax) includes all the supplies, tools, glazes you need and a 25lb bag of clay which is generally enough for a 5 week class. If you run out more can be purchased for 2$/lb.

We require anyone interested in joining as a studio member to take both intro & beyond basics class, if you are considering a membership this class is for you. Contact us for more details. :)

Today is the day! Come grab a dog bowl for a good cause!

How it works:
-Sneak in around the Kelly's Van 🤣
-Cash only, in the Paw patrol bank attached to steps.
-This is a pay what you want sale, all cash will go to People for Animal Wellbeing / Société pour le bien-être des animaux (suggested donation 10$)
-A few of the bowls have a weird texture inside and are marked as planters.
-We will update this post when we are sold out.

We wanted to set up the dog bowls stair sale today but the weather scared us off, so tomorrow is the biggest day!

How it works:
-We will be set up outside on our steps at 11am.
-Cash only, no holds.
-There will be a cash box set up on the step.
-This is a pay what you want sale, all cash will go to People for Animal Wellbeing / Société pour le bien-être des animaux
-A few of the bowls have a weird texture inside and will be marked as planters.
-We will make a post when we start the sale and update it when we are sold out.

Recently Amy had a huge wholesale order of dog dishes. Anytime we work in large numbers there is always a certain amount of kiln loss and this order was no exception. A number of the bowls, though still functional, didn't make the cut. Mostly they just have a small surface crack on the exterior, they are intact inside and won't leak. They would still make perfectly fine pet bowls, or planters if you don't have any furry friends.

She has decided to do a pay-what-you-want stair sale and all the money collected will go to PAW (People for Animal Wellbeing). Stay tuned for more details on what date & time we will be set up, etc. We might try the kintsugi trend and fill the crack with a little decorative gold paint. 😉
