🍋 Sometimes life gives you lemons, and you have to make lemonade.

This week I learned that growing up Portuguese comes with lessons in resiliency and flexibility. Also a little Portuguese ingenuity lol.

My usual wood wasn't available, so I ordered a different kind. There's nothing wrong with it for suncatchers but it takes a little longer to cut and leaves the edges looking a bit more charred.

So I improvised. I had a pack of stain pens that I bought for my floors, and it had the perfect shade I needed. I used it to stain these pieces and it worked beautifully.

A little extra work, a little creative problem-solving, and I think they're going to be stunning once all the color is in. I can't wait to show you these complete!
