Whiteoaksartgroup The White Oaks Art Group was organized to enrich the members lives through art. The group has been active in the art community in Mississauga for 42 years.

White Oaks Art Group was organized in 1974 to enrich each other's lives through art. Each member uses their own medium and style; has a unique perspective; and strives to illuminate some aspect of their passion through art. The group meets twice a month to paint and give each other feedback on current works and holds a weekend Show and Sale at Visual Arts Mississauga (VAM). This page shows images

I am in awe of the natural world, changing colours, light and movement.
My intention is to capture the mood of the moment, bringing my interpretation and harmony into the sight.
Acrylics on canvas is my preferred medium.

Where do you see your career headed in the future?
Now in the prime of my life, I have received several awards along the way, up until my retirement in 2000 from my position as an Art Director. My paintings are held in collections across Canada, the USA, Europe, Australia, Hong Kong, and Sri Lanka. Far from slowing down, I am eager to continue exploring wherever my artistic journey leads me next!
